Nature Labs Acquires Pulse Products

VINELAND, N.J. — Nature Labs, the makers of Nature Lovin,’ Naturally Yours, PRIDE and Intimate Natural Gel Personal Lubricants today announced that it has acquired Pulse Products, a light cosmetic manufacturing company specialized in lotions, skin care and bath products.

Nature Labs says it entered into a binding sales agreement July 30 for an undisclosed amount.

“The combination of Pulse Products 23 years of formulations and brand creation focused around affordability along with our strong creative team, customer care and natural, healthy products, we can now offer our customers many new product lines and our clients a much larger capability in private label and contract manufacture. We will be able to produce a very wide range of cosmetics,” said Louis Rivers, CEO and managing member of Nature Labs.

Director of Reach and Development Kevin Stranen added, “The acquisition is also expected to result in greater efficiencies and significantly increase our quality of service.”

According to Rivers, a strategic partnership between Nature Labs and Pulse Products four years ago.

“We have had a great and successful relationship with Pulse and it only made sense to join the two companies together during our upcoming expansion,” Rivers said. “Putting everything under one roof will allow Nature Labs greater cost savings and faster turnaround times.”

Nature Labs says it will use Pulse Product’s existing infrastructure and brand recognition to provide a larger scale of products and services to its customers.

“The integration of both companies will take place over the next 60 days, Rivers said. “Our customers will continue to receive the same high quality products and services, which they have come to expect.”

Pulse Products, which will continue to operate under that name as a brand and is now a wholly owned?subsidiary of Nature Labs, while Pulse Products contract manufacturing and private labeling will?become part of Nature Labs Manufacturing, which is also wholly owned by Nature Labs.

“We felt this business was essential to Nature Labs, LLC and we were all determined to make it happen,” Rivers said.

Under the terms of the agreement, Nature Labs will move the Pulse Products business to its new 20,000-square-foot facility in Vineland, N.J. and reopen by Sept. 28. Nature Labs also has a phase two expansion underway for fall of 2016 taking the new facility to 80,000 square feet. Pulse currently employs about 40 full and part-time employees in the Commerce area. All the employees were transferred to a sister company in the same city.
