NEW YORK — The black comedy short film, “Laff K,” featuring porn star Maryjean, will see its world premiere at the Eat My Shorts NYC short film showcase, on Sat., June 6, at 4 p.m.
Hosted by Casting to the People, drinks and a BBQ will be available on the outside patio, while the screening is in the venue’s main loft.
“I’m so excited to see the movie myself!” says Maryjean. “I was very lucky to have this chance to work with a group of talented, experienced actors, who showed me the ropes and made me so comfortable.”
“I look forward to more acting roles,” Maryjean adds. “That’s my goal.”
The Eat My Shorts NYC short film showcase is held at 111 Bowery in New York.
There is no cover charge to attend this event.
“I was thoroughly impressed with Maryjean’s performance,” says director Joseph Patrick Conroy. “‘Laff K’ features some extremely talented actors, and Maryjean held her own during her scenes with each of them. I’d love to work with her again, and I hope we can make that happen at some point soon.”
