CammingCon Rebrands as Cam Con

MIAMI — Cam Con 2015 (formerly CammingCon) will be held at SLS South Beach in Miami, Fla., June 4-7.

Founders Clinton Cox and Stacey Havoc have created the new brand and new name to encapsulate all models from around the world, and all walks of life.

“Comic-Con was founded around comic book characters, but has evolved to every fictional character in every platform, where fans from around the world come to meet them," Cox said. "It became obviously to Stacey and myself that we do this immediately, by rebranding our expo to Cam Con. Every model that has been in front of a camera, and that has a fan base, are important to us.”

Confirmed models include: SpicyJ, LittleRedBunny, BuniBuni, Kendra Sunderland, Miss Karmen, Sabra Steele, Sara Jay, Kylie Cupcake, Dava Foxx, Jamie Michelle, Isabel Black, Tina Marie, Alana Thai, Nikki Beez, BettyBangxxx, Selena Kyle, Ember Skye, Brittany Rose, Courtney Shane, and more to be announced.

One of the biggest draws are the Instagram models who will be participating.

“We are already having two massive Instagram models and Snapchat models (Instacelebs) coming to fan day," Cox said. “And combined with the diversity of talent who will be in attendance this was the right time to make everyone aware of us and the new direction of the expo.”

As Cam Con returns to Miami Beach at SLS South Beach, new events include a Friday pool set with DJ Jessie Andrews, who performed at Ultra Music Festival this past spring. The Fan Day Experience will be held at Club Mansion from 4 to 8 p.m. on June 6 and the Saturday Night Blowout Party will be held at E11ven, DJ set by The EC Twins.

Cam Con is the first worldwide conference for the Live Content industry that successfully delivered a complete 360-degree platform. The inaugural event in 2014 brought the industry, the models and the fans together for the first time.

About 25 companies from around the world will take part in the Industry Day, with another 20 representatives from overlapping companies. Cam Con will consist of seminars, parties, the fan day, and the Model Lounge for all of the models in attendance. Cam Con will host the Industry day in the Penthouse of the Raleigh Hotel, which is located in the the SLS sister hotel. Industry Day will feature B2B seminars, breakout sessions, and group discussions in addition to the exhibit booths and special promotions.

Cam Con
was created to evolve the fastest growing segment of the web, which is live, interactive, user generated content. Adult has been the leader in pushing technology to the limits and teaching all how to monetize the internet at every level. Live Cams is the next frontier. While live cams have been historically associated with adult, the internet has evolved into a giant user generation of media makers, who produce for money, likes or even hearts. They just love producing compelling user generated content. Once again, with adult leading the way, products from adult to mainstream now have the knowhow to monetize and create more money than ever for the models who make the content day in and day out.

Products like ChatStar, developed to help Instagram models create money with their fan base, while producing content within their comfort zones and distributing exclusive content for their most devoted fans. Model Centro, a platform that gives hungry career motivated models the opportunity to create their own website and really build their very own brand for either adult or mainstream markets.

When Havoc and Cox set out to create this conference, the cornerstone of the expo and events involved was to educate and evolve the internet as a whole, where the mainstream would once again learn from successful adult leaders. Cam Con is the platform where people come to Miami once a year, share their ideas and push the evolution of the Internet.

The confab will be held at SLS Hotel in Miami’s South Beach, located at 1701 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, 33139 from June 4-7, 2015. To register, visit camcon.com.

Cam Con takes model and attendee safety very seriously. There will be 24-hour security on-site to ensure all attendees safely experience a very productive conference.
