OdysseyCam Returns, Announces Upgrade to v7.0

LAS VEGAS — OdysseyCam has announced its re-launch and the release of its new enterprise level adult video chat system.

OdysseyCam offers a scalable, modular system built on node.js that is customizable to the customer’s specifications, providing a turnkey system that can be setup to run in just a few days, integrated with Zombaio for credit card processing.

While the new version of OdysseyCam is in Beta, the purchase price is lowered by more than 80 percent, as a special “We’re Back” promotion, since it has been more than three years since the company announced that OdysseyCam was not being sold anymore, and that the current system had reached its end of life.

OdysseyCam is also now available as a self-hosted system, allowing customers to run the system on their own server — an option that company CEO Jeffrey Miller says has been the plan for a long time.

“A lot of customers like the security of knowing the system they purchase is [under] their control,” Miller says. “The main issues we had was how to maintain quality support on non-managed systems while protecting our proprietary code, which has been well thought out.”

This is now possible, Miller explains, by offering various tiered leveled support contracts for host-your-own systems, based on the customer’s needs.
