Jake Jaxson's CockyBoys to Host First Cocky Con in Chicago

NEW YORK — Jake Jaxson on Friday announced the first ever Cocky Con event to be held in conjunction with the 2015 Grabby Awards in Chicago.

The event promises to bring members and fans closer to CockyBoys and their performers than ever before, according to Jaxson, the owner of CockyBoys. It takes place the day of the 2015 Grabby Awards on Saturday, May 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hard Rock Hotel. Everyone must RSVP to info@cockyboys.com to get the exact ballroom location.

Cocky Con is presented by TLA Gay and will include a Q&A (led by Erik Schut, managing director of TLA Gay) with the owners of CockyBoys, Jaxson, Director of Photography RJ Sebastian and Creative Director Benny MooreCock. Additionally, the cast of the CockyBoys' "Answered Prayers" (nominated for 13 Grabby Awards this year including Best Film and Best Director) will be in attendance for a special Q&A with stars Levi Karter, Liam Riley, Tayte Hanson, Max Carter, Ricky Roman, Frankie V, Chris Harder and Diesel Washington.

CockyBoys will also be holding a silent auction for memorabilia from "Answered Prayers" and more with proceeds going to three charities chosen by Jake, RJ and Benny. All proceeds from a "CockyShop Pop-Up Store" where fans can buy t-shirts, hoodies, DVDS, trading cards and more will also go toward charities. The charities include Les Children's Restaurant, which supports and feeds street children in Cambodia; The Ali Forney Center, which houses and protects homeless LGBT youth in NYC; and URGENT, which is an advocacy group for animals on death row in NYC.

Finally, there will be a special book signing of CockyBoys' latest coffee table book "69 Positions of Joyful Gay Sex" distributed by Bruno Gmunder which recently topped Amazon's list of best-selling erotic photography books just like its predecessor "A Thing of Beauty" last year. Fans can bring their already purchased books to the event to be signed or they can purchase a book at the "CockyShop Pop-Up Store."

Jaxson, who is also lead director of CockyBoys, remarked, "When we first attended the Grabby's three years ago, with 'Project GoGoBoy,' we were thrilled to meet a handful of our local fans who came out to meet us — now this year they are being joined by over 100 people who have already RSVP'ed for our event, from all over the world.

"We would not be where we are today without the constant support and positive energy created from the community of fans and members that are so dedicated to our performers and our work. More than ever I'm proud to say porn is bringing people together!

"Also, I have to acknowledge Mark and Stacy, the organizers of the Grabbys for once again creating a great event that is also socially conscious by supporting so many of their local LGBT organizations — it has also inspired us to find more ways to give back and engage."

Admission to Cocky Con is free however donations are encouraged to benefit the charities that are near and dear to the CockyBoys' hearts.

The night before the Grabbys on May 22nd, the CockyBoys will be appearing at the famed Chicago gay bar Side Track and will be holding an underwear auction where fans can buy the underwear right off their favorite CockyBoy. All money will go to Heartland Alliance Health.
