SexShop3D Securely Streams 3D Sex Toy Designs

PARIS — SexShop3D.com has announced its partnership with Authentise, a leading licensing platform for the 3D printing industry.

SexShop3D.com is a 3D sex toy marketplace that launched in July, 2014, where designers can register to become sex toy creators and sell their creations to customers who print their sex toys at home using a 3D printer. It is a process the company calls “a game changer for the sex toy manufacturing industry.”

According to Authentise, it helps companies to prepare their designs for 3D printing, and then monitors production to ensure quality.

The new partnership is part of SexShop3D’s commitment to offer a hassle-free shopping experience to its customers and to address designers’ concerns about file security.

“We are thrilled to begin this partnership with Authentise,” said SexShop3D founder Thomas Sancelot. “This is the next step in our project to radically change the sex toy industry.”

“Any problem we might encounter is immediately resolved because 3D printing technology is constantly growing and improving,” Sancelot says. “Authentise’s streaming service is the cornerstone to unlocking the full potential for 3D printing and we are proud to be a part of it.”

Sancelot explains that piracy and file security are big concerns in the 3D printing world — so big, in fact, that many designers have become fearful of sharing their designs because of the piracy threat.

“To solve this problem, Authentise built a technology that optimizes designs and securely streams them to 3D printers. Customers never download the files so they cannot modify or share them,” Sancelot said. “The result of streaming 3D models directly to printers is an enhanced user experience and an improved print quality [so] both customers and creators benefit from Authentise technology.”

“The consumer market is the fastest-growing portion of the 3D printing market,” Sancelot concludes. “The fastest expansion of this technology will come from personal use, so companies [such as] Authentise and SexShop3D are using all the tools at their disposal to offer the best 3D printing experience to customers.”
