Vivid Releasing 'Avengers XXX 2: An Axel Braun Parody' Online

LOS ANGELES — Vivid Entertainment today announced that it will release “Avengers XXX 2: An Axel Braun Parody,” online at Vivid.com on April 14.

The sequel is the latest in the Vivid SuperXXXHeroes series of comic parodies created for Vivid by director Axel Braun, who just won his fourth XRCO Best Director-Parody award.

Vivid said the work is a delightfully entertaining labor of love for Braun, a self-proclaimed comic book fanboy who notoriously pays painstaking attention to detail in all of his productions.

“This is just an awesome movie, and not just because I directed it,” Braun said, who co-wrote the screenplay with longtime collaborator Eli Cross.

He added, “It’s a fairly complex story, but it unfolds very fluidly while still allowing plenty of action and character development so the viewer can suspend disbelief. Rikki Six and Zoe Voss really steal the show in this one, and Xander Corvus is brilliant as always in the Spidey role, while Lexington Steele simply is Nick Fury.”

In the spoof, the Avengers’ team splits into groups to battle a creature known as Onslaught and to find a toxic chemical hidden inside Hydra's secret base.

The cast includes Penny Pax (as Mockingbird), Zoe Voss (as Wasp), Rikki Six (as Ms. Marvel), Jayden Jaymes (as Maria Hill), Juelz Ventura (as Viper), Eva Karera (as Red Guardian), Josh Rivers (as Captain America), Eric Masterson (as Hawkeye), Seth Gamble (as Winter Soldier), Xander Corvus (as Spider-Man) and Lexington Steele (as Nick Fury.)
