ASACP Prepares for Phoenix Forum

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has announced its return participation in The Phoenix Forum (TPF), being held from March 25-29, in Tempe, Ariz.

According to its promoter, The Phoenix Forum is the premier educational and networking event for the adult business community that offers attendees a relaxed face-to-face networking environment and provides unsurpassed opportunities to meet, learn, and share ideas with their online business peers.

TPF host CCBill is generously providing the association with a sponsorship package that includes prominent signage, plus an ad in the show’s program guide and a flyer insert in the show’s welcome bag. ASACP will also have an exhibition table at the popular Meet & Greet, on Friday, March 27.

An ASACP Title Sponsor, CCBill serves on the ASACP Advisory Council via Gary Jackson, a well known personality in the adult digital media market, bringing compassion, experience and wisdom to the association, while serving as a great example of the way companies can help ASACP carry out its mission.

Additionally, CCBill is providing ASACP with a room at the show venue, the Tempe Mission Palms Hotel — along with a complimentary forum admission badge.

ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning will be in attendance, where he will participate in the 11th Annual Phoenix Forum Charity Golf Tournament to support ASACP, presented by WebmasterGolfTour.com. The tournament is set for Wednesday, March 25, at the beautiful Ocotillo Golf Club in Mesa, Ariz. Registration for the event is now open with spots left for Phoenix Forum attendees.

“ASACP is grateful for the support extended to it by TPF, CCBill and special fundraisers such as X2K’s annual golf tournament,” Henning says. “ASACP relies on the generosity of its sponsors, members and contributors, without whom we would not enjoy the record of success we have had on behalf of the industry — and on behalf of at-risk children.”

On Friday, March 27, at 1 p.m., Henning will participate in interactive roundtable session entitled “Evolution of Controls,” in the event venue’s Palm F room. The panel will discuss the changing regulations facing the adult online entertainment industry — including such topics as age verification measures, the U.K.’s ATVOD and California’s Measure B, plus evolving laws surrounding dating sites and revenge porn sites.

“TPF provides ASACP with an opportunity to reach an exclusive gathering of adult industry professionals, to convey its message of proactive industry self-regulation,” Henning states. “ASACP helps companies protect themselves by protecting children — keeping them out of and away from age -restricted materials, which it helps through its Code of Ethics and market segment specific Best Practices. It is a message that I will bring to Phoenix Forum attendees.”
