LOS ANGELES — Director B Skow is introducing a new take on the gonzo genre with his next title “A Gonzo Story: The Mansion Family” from his studio, Skow for Girlfriends Films.
In the movie, Skow manipulates the standard gonzo formula to emphasize the genre’s strengths, incorporating traditional elements of gonzo, while removing aspects he feels detracts from the experience.
"A Gonzo Story” is now shipping on DVD and will release Friday.
“I want fans to get the positive cinematic elements of gonzo and the intimate nature of the sex, without the distraction of the director and soundtrack.” Skow said. “It’s just a different way to watch a girl move, talk, and show her body in a gonzo-style format hidden within an interesting little story”
“A Gonzo Story: The Mansion Family” features performances by Jodi Taylor, Maddy O’Reilly, Aaliyah Love, and Kassondra Raine in four vignettes. The male cast includes Mr. Pete, Tommy Pistol, Toni Ribas, and Ramon Nomar.
Filmed with a mixture of handheld and static cameras, the movie weaves four stories about the sex-crazed Mansion Family. In the first scene, rich girl Jodi lets her passion overcome her as gives her virginity to her cousin Maddy's boyfriend. Next, Maddy channels her inner slut when Jodi offers her own boyfriend, Bill for a hot hookup. In the third scene Aaliyah is dumped by her rich boyfriend but not before she gets throttled. In scene four, Mansion family matriarch Kassondra gets her groove back when her male masseuse takes her for a hard ride.
When asked to comment on working with B. Skow, Aaliyah Love remarked, “The man is a creative genius, but also a huge pervert.”
Newcomer Kassondra Raine gives a standout performance in “A Gonzo Story,” prompting Skow to feature her prominently on the movie’s cover. “I was very happy with the performances all the girls brought to this movie, but Kassondra Raine especially caught my attention,” Skow said. “Her sex scene was so intense that everyone on set was blown away! She is one of those rare performers who loves sex as much as she loves the attention from the camera.”
