MiKandi Creates Game Mocking New U.K. Porn Regs

SEATTLE — MiKandi has developed and rolled out the "Squirt Alert! Save Female Ejaculation Adult App" game that mocks the new legislative provision that has just come into force banning certain acts of online content distributed in the U.K.

MiKandi's new app, free for users with Android mobile devices, was created over the past weekend "to show our displeasure of the British Board of Film Classification’s new anti-femdom porn rules," according to MiKandi co-founder Jennifer McEwen.

In the game, users play a female protagonist who squirts in the faces of opponents of female ejaculation.

"It's a very simple game: Try to squirt on as many opponents as possible in a short period of time," McEwen told XBIZ. "At the end she says, in an English accent, "Take that! Female ejaculation for the win!"

McEwen said that the new rules, which have been criticized harshly by the adult entertainment business community, effectively declare war on the world's favorite sexual fetishes.

"We, like many others, quickly noted the hypocrisy of the BBFC's new anti-femdom porn rules, in particular to female ejaculation," McEwen said. "It's ridiculous that female performers are prohibited from cumming on their co-stars' bodies, while male performers aren't subject to the same restrictions.

"Then we recalled the adage, 'Obscenity is whatever gives the judge an erection.' Either BBFC members haven't openly embraced their kink and are punishing everyone else, or they don't know what they're missing out on," she said.

The new U.K. law, which took effect Dec. 1, effectively bans female ejaculation, spanking, fisting, water sports, face-sitting and more.

Regulated by ATVOD, the new rules bring U.K.-based video-on-demand services into line with the BBFC R18 standard that applies to physical DVDs sold in brick-and-mortar stores.

But because the BBFC guidelines dictate an even lower threshold than the Crown Prosecution Service's guidelines under the Obscene Publications Act of 1959, a wider range of sexual activities shown in online content will be banned.

Seattle-based MiKandi, which reached its fifth anniversary in business last month, offers mobile porn apps based on Google Android’s open source operating system. It offers a catalog of 11,000 adult apps that have been installed on 6 million devices.
