Sportsheets Reports Record Sales for October

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Sportsheets International, an industry leader in BDSM and fantasy lifestyle products, announced that this October was its busiest month in the past three years, and that 2014 in general saw strong sales.

The company introduced a host of new products this year, including its Sportsheets Plus line, which increased the market of women able to use the company's straps and harnesses to sizes 12-30. The company also added almost 40 new products, building on some of its already well-established brands like Edge, Sex In The Shower, and Sex and Mischief.

"2014 has been a great year for us," Sportsheets President Julie Stewart said. "Our overall sales have climbed every quarter this year and despite a generally slow summer, our numbers kept climbing. October has been our busiest month in the past three years, as distributors and retailers are preparing for the Christmas and Valentine's Day rush.”

Stewart added that its team has expanded as well, growing both its sales force and manufacturing department to keep up with demand.

“We are very grateful for the support of all of our customers that enable us to continue to keep couples connected, which is the premise that our company was started on," she said.

In addition to the extensive SKU's introduced this year, Sportsheets is gearing up to launch its Sexperiments line, which is set to start shipping mid-December.

The line, now available for pre-order, encompasses five custom-built kits to help “mainstream the BDSM market,” the company said in a release.
