FreeOnes Enters Alexa Global Top 500 Sites

DRIEBERGEN, The Netherlands — Proving the popularity of porn star traffic, FreeOnes.com, a veritable who’s who of adult entertainment performers, has cracked the Alexa Global Top 500 sites.

Maurice, who founded the porn star site, said breaking into the Alexa Top 500 is a huge accomplishment for FreeOnes.com, which began operations in 1998.

“Entering the worldwide website Top 500 truly calls for a celebration, he said. “Me and my team are working hard every day and the ever-growing amount of visitors to the site is the ultimate reward. Obviously we are not done yet; we will continue growing, and we will not rest until we hit the Top 100.”

According to Maurice, the site attracts about 950,000 visitors per day who browse the FreeOnes database, which now features more than 8,000 female performers.

While having an extensive database of female performers has paid dividends for FreeOnes, Maurice attributes some of the site’s growth to value-added features such as MyFreeOnes, which allows users to track their favorite stars, as well as a busy message board and a paysite review section.

At time of post, FreeOnes was ranked No. 494. By comparison, Yahoo, MSN and Google each took the top three spots. The lower the Alexa rating, the more popular the website is with surfers.

Alexa, which provides detailed traffic information and analysis of the worldwide web, has become a critical tool for measuring the success of mainstream and adult online properties.
