Merchant Risk to Hold iBill, Etelegate Recovery Seminar

BLUE BELL, Pa. — Asset recovery firm Merchant Risk, Recovery & Intelligence has invited webmasters who are owed money by iBill or Etelegate to file claim information via its site CollectFromIbill.com, which has been up since October.

To more effectively help webmasters recover what they are owed, Merchant Risk will hold a seminar at Internext in Las Vegas, Jan. 16.

The company estimates that iBill owes webmasters between $50-75 million, and has decided to initiate recovery efforts.

At the seminar, webmasters will learn more about Merchant Risk, its approach to recoveries, and how to participate in the iBill and Etelegate recovery. Merchants that would like to attend should submit their contact details to CollectFromIbill.com. The company also will hold a second seminar for East Coast webmasters in Florida, shortly after Internext.

“Given the number of merchants affected by both iBill and Etelegate’s terrible business practices, we are confident we will have enough merchants to initiate a recovery,” Phil Thompson, Merchant Risk account manager, said. “We are hoping for a strong turnout, so that we can move forward with momentum and a clear mandate to recover.”

Merchant Risk, Recovery & Intelligence was created to assist with asset recovery in cases of fraud, Thompson says. The firm has created a global network of attorneys, investigators and forensic accountants that allow it to locate assets and funds, and subsequently recover those assets on behalf of its clients.
