We-Vibe, Love Is Art Collaborate on Erotic Art Kit for Couples

OTTAWA — We-Vibe has teamed with Love is Art, the makers of erotic art kits, to create a means for lovers to express themselves artistically while using the popular couples-centric vibrator.

The fruition of the collaboration is the We-Vibe 4 Plus Color, which provides couples with everything they need to create abstract paintings during or after their intimate experience.

Jeremy Brown, the founder of Love is Art, had been making art during sex for years, inspired by Andy Warhol and French artist Yves Klein, PSFK reports. When a friend asked Brown to design a set for her and her husband as an anniversary present, he was inspired to make such a kit available to couples across the world.

The We-Vibe 4 Plus Color includes non-toxic body paints in pink, purple, teal blue and silver and a 41x54-inch treated cotton canvas. To prevent a different type of messy experience, the kit also includes sensible materials like a large plastic tarp, two pairs of disposable slippers and a body scrubber.

LoveIsArtKit.com describes how it’s done: “You simply roll the plastic tarp out onto the floor, place the specially treated canvas on top, pour the 4-ounce of specially formulated paint onto the canvas, and then use your bodies to move the paint around and across the canvas, creating a unique abstract image. Incorporate the app-enabled We-Vibe 4 Plus to enhance your experience and maximize pleasure. After painting, throw on the disposable slippers and walk to the shower or bath to wash each other off.”

When the painting is finished, the painting can be stretched, framed and hung — meant to provide a lasting memento of the sexual experience. LoveIsArtKit.com sells stretcher bars and provides a video tutorial in which Brown explains how to stretch the completed work.

The We-Vibe 4 Plus Color retails for $239. To check it out, click here.
