Michael Lucas Premieres Softcore Version of ‘La Dolce Vita’

NEW YORK — Gay producer and performer Michael Lucas, who helms Lucas Entertainment, will host a premiere party for his latest feature film, “La Dolce Vita.” A softcore version of the film will be screened at the premiere party, with a hardcore version available in stores.

Lucas will premiere the softcore version of the film for a crowd of fans and adult entertainment industry notables Dec. 12. Following the screening, the films stars will be on hand for a Q&A session.

“La Dolce Vita” features Lucas, Vivid star Savanna Samson and Broadway performer Spencer Quest.

Lucas, who also directed the film, said he considers it to be a fusion work, bridging the gap between mainstream and adult productions.

“Many mainstream movies are extremely sexual,” he said. “We always fall in love with the characters we see, cheering for them, wanting them to kiss. These films can be very exciting. So much of the same porn has been produced over the past 40 years and before seeing sex, today's audiences want to see the reason why these people are fucking. It makes the encounter hotter and more desirable. And of course we will provide what we're known for, the most incredible hardcore scenes, which promise not to disappoint the horny viewer.”

Following the Q&A, guests will be treated a reception that features Samson’s wine, Sogo Uno.

A red carpet reception prior to the screening will be hosted “Big Brother” star Will Wikle, who now works for Logo, a gay TV network.

The hardcore version hits stores Dec. 6.
