Give Lube Wins 2014 ETO Award for Best Consumable

LOS ANGELES — Give Lube has announced its receipt of the ETO’s “Best Consumable” award for 2014, in recognition of its skin-kind, water-based lube, Premium Aqua Gel.

The ETO Show and Awards was held on June 22 at the NEC in Birmingham, England. Professionals in the erotic products and sex toys industry made the award’s nominations and subsequent voting.

“This award had previously been won by ID every year, so to receive this accolade and follow this huge, respected American brand really is an honor for us,” Nigel Powell, MD of Give Lube parent Give Pleasure Products, said. “It’s also testament to the success of our brand building and a great product.”

“At last year’s ETO Awards we were so pleased to be the first ever winners of the Editor’s Award, where the Editor, Dale Bradford, chooses a company that he himself believes is deserving of recognition. But to now also win a category award that is voted for by our industry peers, it is a fantastic endorsement for our brand and our products and it’s a great selling point too for our retailers,” Powell added. “We’ve been humbled by the amount of kind words and congratulatory comments we’ve received. Premium Aqua Gel is a glycerin-free, paraben-free, water based lube enriched with aloe vera to leave the skin feeling soft and moisturized and contains panthenol to help counteract bacteria. It comes in four different sizes: 30ml, 100ml, 250ml and a 10ml “lubeshot” version.

To maximize the opportunity that the award presents there will be “award-winning” banners to support online retailers, posters for in-store advertising, and every single bottle will bear an “award-winning” sticker to show that it is the choice of professionals.
