LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures released today “Sleeping Beauty XXX: An Axel Braun Parody,” a deluxe, two-disc DVD set that includes both hardcore and non-sex versions of the movie.
Shot as the second picture in the Wicked Fairy Tales line by noted director Axel Braun, the high-budget feature stars Stormy Daniels in a “malevolent” performance, counterbalanced by Anikka Albrite’s delicate portrayal of the doomed princess.
Stormy was terrifyingly good,” Braun said. “Her screen presence, sexual charge and charisma pervade the movie and really set the dramatic tone for it, while Anikka brings an intensely nuanced performance to her character. ‘Sleeping Beauty XXX’ has an even darker, sexier approach to the source material than the one I took with ‘Snow White XXX,’ and I’m absolutely thrilled with the finished product.”
Daniels, a director herself who rarely works for other people, shared Braun’s enthusiasm. “Getting to portray such an iconic character was definitely one of the coolest moments in my career,” Daniels said. “I’ve never desired to do a parody before, but ‘Maleficent’ was just the role to make me eager to step into the genre. I’m very excited about this release … so much so that I talked Axel into letting me keep the costume, which I plan to incorporate into a brand new feature dance show.”
The film also stars Casey Calvert, Claire Robbins and ABP contract girl Riley Steele as the three fairies.
