Webmaster Access West Not Short on Parties

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. — For a show that is known for networking opportunities, Webmaster Access West presented attendees with a nice selection of private dinners, celebrations and parties — the most noteworthy of which took place at the Playboy Mansion.

On the convention’s first night, the Porn Poker Tour made its annual appearance. It was slow going at first, but as free-drink tickets were being handed out, the tables filled quickly. The Porn Poker Tour awarded $3,500 to the winner, which was sponsored by Eroticy, PluginFeeds, CamZ, SammySmack, MPA3, RealityCash, CapitalBucks, NetBilling and Dating Gold.

On the show’s second night, evening events picked up considerably. Webmasters ventured away from the cozy confines of the Universal Sheraton lobby bar to various private dinners in and around Los Angeles.

SmashBucks hosted a dinner along with Netbilling and CamZ at Saddle Ranch on Universal City Walk, which was well attended. Spotted at the dinner were Shane’s World’s Airek and Casey Parker, TheContentStore.com’s Jonathan Silverstein, Aimee Sweet, Evil Angel Cash’s John Desjardins, Kevin and Darren Blatt, LightspeedCash’s Steve Lightspeed, PrideBucks’ Rainey Stricklin, Adult.com’s Spannow, Baddog, SmashBucks’ Mike Hawk and HarleyGirl, CamZ Dan Hogue, Aria Giovanni and Naughty Allie, among many others.

After being stuffed with Saddle Ranch’s prime rib, many webmasters walked to the back lot of Universal Studios for Epoch’s Decade Party celebrating the company’s 10th Anniversary.

Cocktail hour on one of the pre-fab movie set streets was an engaging experience. A roving magician provided entertainment as guests were treated to an open bar and delicious hors d’oeuvres that included specialty pizzas, crab cakes and coconut shrimp.

After cocktail hour wound down, guests were directed to the Globe Theater. A Las Vegas-like club atmosphere that was decked out with all white couches, settees and beds greeted attendees, who were again treated to an open bar. A magician took to the stage to perform various illusions and tricks that left the crowd stunned, including sawing a woman in half. (She was fine, don’t worry). Four food buffets with Italian, Mexican, BBQ and American cuisine got high marks from attendees.

Thursday night was a busy party night as GigaCash, Sexentertain, VividCash, Sextoy.com, HuslerCash, OC-3 Networks and Sex Search held a bowling party at Lucky Strike in the Hollywood & Highland complex in Hollywood, Calif.

Some webmasters arrived with their game-faces on and wore customized bowling shirts. The trendy bar was open for all invited guests, as well an outdoor patio area. Hustler contract stars Nikki Nine and Mya Luanna mingled among invitees in the closed off VIP area.

The most anticipated event of Webmaster Access took place on the hallowed grounds of Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion in Holmby Hills, Calif.

While Hefner was not present, “Girl Next Door” star and one of Hef’s three trophy girlfriends Kendra Wilkinson was there and danced, while rapper Too Short performed. Sex icon Jenna Jameson also appeared and mingled with the crowd.

While most of the action took place inside party tents located on the mansion’s grounds, the world famous grotto was a hub of entertainment, and featured many scantily clad females taking dips in the water. Models were decorated with paint of the various party sponsors’ logos.

“It was just great being in a place with that much history,” PlatinumBucks’ Mario Amaral told XBIZ of his PlatinumBucks’ experience. “The party was amazing and coudn't have been better prepared. Playboy, Webmaster Access, and all the other sponsors did an amazing job putting this party, and this show, together.”
