StraightCollegeMen Forms New DVD Sales Dept.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — StraightCollegeMen.com has formed a new sales department to handle its DVD sales. After signing an exclusive distribution agreement last year with Pulse Distribution, SCM has produced 56 DVD titles, and the website/production house is currently searching for a candidate to fill the new sales position.

“Getting our content on DVD has opened has opened up a whole new market,” SCM owner Justin Clouse said. “Now I’m looking to bring in someone with experience in the industry who can really push our product into stores hesitant about taking on a new line, especially one branded as a website, which they may see as a threat.”

SCM is a niche provider aimed at the gay market by offering DVDs of college-aged men masturbating. The company’s trademark features raucous men yelling, “Straight guys doing not-so-straight things.” Their product consistently ranks in the top 100 sales and rentals, according to Clouse, but he believes SCM needs an experienced director of DVD sales at this time.

“I need someone who gets our product,” Clouse said. “It’s not your traditional porn video, but as Pulse and others have seen, it’s one with a market. Customers are fiercely loyal to our brand. We just need to get our brand in front of more eyeballs. It proves itself once it’s in the stores.”

Those interested in SCM’s director of DVD sales position should email a cover letter and resume to dvdsalesopening@straightcollegemen.com
