Wicked Pictures Reveals Details of New Brad Armstrong Film

LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures has announced that filmmaker Brad Armstrong has wrapped production on "Aftermath," a New York-set relationship drama set for an Aug. 27 release.

The film is described as an intimate character study with a twist starring Wicked Girl Jessica Drake. The relationship-driven production focuses on 18 year-old Danny (Tyler Nixon) who begins a torrid May-December romance with a mysterious woman.

"'Aftermath’ was an amazing experience. Jessica and Tyler completely surpassed my expectations when it came to their acting performances. The sexual chemistry they were able to create was incredibly believable," Armstrong said. "At times it felt so real that I almost got jealous.”

Drake noted that her part was of a radically different stripe. “Shooting this for Brad was a very unique experience. Playing the role of Nina was challenging, but with Tyler Nixon as my co-star, I think we created an intense dynamic, and while I wouldn’t necessarily call it a love story, it is a story of epic proportions. I had only worked with Tyler once before, and never in an acting role, but he impressed me so much. He was so good in every way, and I think that this will be remembered as one of his greatest screen roles.”

In addition to the film's chemistry, Armstrong and Drake are both quick to credit the decision to film on location as key to the film’s overall impact. “Shooting in New York was great,” Armstrong said. “We got so many mainstream locations. They give the movie a huge feel and add to the realism.”

The cast also includes Asa Akira, Kaylani Lei and more.

Armstrong added, "I’ve made a lot of award winning movies over the years and this will rank among the very best. I can’t wait for everyone to see it.
