Mobidea Improves Built-In Technology

LUXEMBOURG – Mobidea, the mobile monetization platform powered by parent company StarEdition, announced that it has improved its built-in technology to help boost users’ sales.

The real-time CPA platform now estimates which offer from the Mobidea portfolio is most profitable according to the final user profile by calculating multiple factors, including the user’s country, device, connection and operator.

According to the company, StarEdition software engineers have sharpened the Mobidea system to get “a step closer to the perfect match.”

In addition, the company has launched several new features on its self-service platform, including automatic carrier pre-detection API.

The API pre-detection tool has been created to help affiliates detect the carrier their mobile visitors are using to navigate through their website.

“Our partners can now choose if they want to redirect only WiFi users, 3G users or both,” said Alex Lecomte, marketing manager of Mobidea, which was named Mobile Affiliate of the Year at the recent 2014 XBIZ Awards. “We want to help our affiliates to build the most profitable strategy, that’s why we ask them to get in touch with our support team to enable this feature.”

Mobidea customers can now use operating system statistics to check how they perform on Android and Apple markets directly from their affiliates dashboard.

Finally, due to growing issues between automatic downloadable mobile content and traffic providers’ requirements, the affiliate program has decided to provide its users with a corresponding filter to avoid possible complications for adnetwork media buyers.

The Mobidea team will be attending the upcoming XBIZ Summit in Miami, May 13–16.
