Coquette Celebrates 35th Anniversary

LAS VEGAS — Coquette International celebrated its 35th anniversary this week during the International Lingerie Show with a penthouse party inside the Rio Hotel and Casino.

The party, which spread across the penthouse suite’s two stories, was attended by the Coquette team, its retail clientele and members of the press. Guests were treated to food and drinks, as well as dancing on the upper floor of the suite.

Marcus Horea, Coquette’s vice president of marketing and sales, told XBIZ that it was the company’s passion that has enabled it to thrive in its 35 years.

“We have the best sale team in the industry that markets our exceptional and innovative designs,” he said. “We are constantly changing with times and adapting to what's current and in fashion, and this keeps us ahead of the game. Finally our loyal customers and buyers who have believed in the Coquette family and designs for the past 35 years.”

Among Coquette’s biggest accomplishments, Horea says, are the company’s relationships established throughout the years, as well as “expanding globally and reaching our sales goals, protecting our trademarks to keep our integrity, and opening our warehouse in the Los Angeles market.”

In celebrating Coquette’s 35th anniversary, the company also looked to the future with a showcase of its 2014 Holiday and Masquerade lines — both of which will be featured in ILS’ Monday night fashion show.

“[Coquette retailers and fans can expect] fashion-forward designs and more mainstream exposure,” Horea said. “We are also revamping our men's line, and aggressively working on more plus styles.”
