Derrick Pierce Launches CrossFit Company

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ Award-winning performer Derrick Pierce has launched CrossFit Drop.

Pierce, a fitness and martial arts enthusiast, is CrossFit Level 1 Certified and has coached professional MMA athletes from both WEC and UFC. Already an established name in the MMA and CrossFit arena, Pierce is seeking to expand his fitness brand with the launch of CrossFit Drop.

"I'm really excited to announce the launch of CrossFit Drop," Pierce said. "Physical fitness is a personal passion of mine and it's been amazing to share that with people through CrossFit Drop."

In 2013, Pierce brought his MMA expertise to "Tuff Love," a Wicked feature film he directs and stars in. During filming, Pierce provided on-set training and consultation to the two lead actresses, Adrianna Luna and Jessica Drake, helping them achieve authenticity in their fight scenes. The end result is a gritty portrayal of the underground world of female fighting. The film earned him a 2014 XBIZAward for Best Actor in a Couples-Themed Release as well as nominations for Best Director in a Feature Release and Couples-Themed Release of the Year.
