CockyBoys' 'RoadStrip' Releases on DVD, Blu-Ray

New York Fresh off the heels of winning 2014 XBIZ Awards for Studio of the Year and Director of the Year, CockyBoys announced release of the semi-reality feature “RoadStrip.”

“RoadStrip” picks up where CockyBoys’ “Project GoGoBoy” left off, with stars Max Ryder and Jake Bass featured front-and-center. The film follows Ryder and Bass as they travel across the U.S. from New York to Los Angeles in an RV, with many epic adventures in between.

The newly released “RoadStrip” three-disc BluRay/DVD collector's edition includes the complete and unedited film, as well as the complete and unedited film “Project GoGoBoy,” a behind-the-scenes mini-doc with Jake Bass, a Max Ryder MTV style "Cribs" episode, six deleted scenes, bloopers and outtakes, trailers and an eight-page collector's booklet featuring essays, detailed scene synopses and photos exclusive to TLAGAY.

"I'm super excited to present this epic ‘Road Strip’ DVD,” Cockyboys Owner Jake Jaxson said. “Looking back on it now, I can truly say it was a defining moment for all of us involved in the production. As the title ‘Road Strip’ suggests, this journey was an unveiling. Not just of bare skin and booties, but also of ourselves: stripping away our porn personas to allow a more revealing look at who we are. Along the way, we made memories that I will not soon forget."

He continued, describing the film’s lead performers, "Max Ryder bravely introduced the viewer to George (his real name), the boy behind the porn star. Max pulled back the curtain and eloquently detailed the differences between Max and George, and gave us a rare glimpse of a highly personal conversation, something rarely seen in gay adult entertainment."

"Jake Bass, an amazing performer and very self aware, allowed the cameras to roll during both the good and the bad. When a very real and antagonizing argument erupts between him and Max, Jake's ability to analyze and address his shortcomings left many views wondering 'Is this porn?'"

Like “Project GoGoBoy,” “RoadStrip” intentionally blurred the lines between adult entertainment and mainstream filmmaking. After debuting online at CockyBoys.com, the film received a full-length premiere at the 2013 Philadelphia International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.

“RoadStrip” will be available on DVD at brick-and-mortar stores at the end of February. It can also be preordered at TLAgay.com.
