Sportsheets Takes Home XBIZ Award

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Sportsheets took home top honors at the XBIZ Awards, garnering the Fetish Pleasure Product of the Year award for its Expandable Spreader Bar and Cuffs.

“We’d like to thank … XBIZ and our industry peers for their ongoing support as the Sportsheets brand has expanded into what it is today,” Sportsheets Founder and CEO Tom Stewart said. “This year, we are proudly celebrating our 21st year in business — and the 5th anniversary of our Sex In the Shower collection — and these awards prove our hard work and determination never fails to pay off.”

XBIZ recognized Sportsheets’ Expandable Spreader Bar for its adjustable, portable and durable construction, giving couples an easy-to-use and versatile bondage tool.

Extendable up to 37 inches, the Expandable Spreader Bar includes cuffs for the ankles or wrists, allowing for experimentation with a variety of restraint positions. Sportsheets Sales Manager Cheri Curry-Poe accepted the award on behalf of the team.

“Sportsheets’ catalog is full of well-crafted and marketable bondage and fetish-related tools, and choosing just one to highlight was a challenge in and of itself,” XBIZ Associate Managing Editor Ariana Rodriguez said. “The Expandable Spreader Bar is an original design that provides an accessible alternative for shoppers looking to explore this kind of intimate play, keeping couples connected in more ways than one.”

In operation since 1993, Sportsheets now offers more than 350 specialty items, including the Sportsheets Premium restraints, sexual positioning products and strap-on harnesses.
