LFP Takes Internet Operations In-House

LOS ANGELES — LFP Internet Group has said it will overhaul operations for all of its online properties, including Hustler.com and BarelyLegal.com, by bringing a number of key business functions in-house.

LFP President Michael Klein said the decision to end the company’s long-term relationship with WebQuest for Internet administration marks a change of direction, moving LFP from a consultant-oriented online operation to one that is managed more directly.

“All of us here appreciate the years of success we have had with WebQuest and are truly grateful for all of the work they have done,” Klein said. “Although we are moving our web operations in a different direction, we hope there may be some opportunities to work with WebQuest in the future.”

WebQuest President Bruce Benevento echoed Klein’s sentiment, saying that he also looked forward to possible future opportunities with LFP.

“We have certainly enjoyed our relationship with the LFP family and wish them well in their future endeavors,” Benevento said. “It’s been an exciting, productive and fun relationship.

LFP will handle affiliate sales and online marketing in-house. The tasks of designing and developing the revamped websites will fall to Mansion Productions.
