CYBERSPACE — Porn fans will finally get to join in the sentimental reminiscing that prevails as the new year rolls in. Following a year of highly “pornformative” infographics, PorhHub has released its 2013 Year in Review.
PornHub explained, “The Internet is looking back at 2013 and reliving the most relevant news stories, YouTube clips and astonishing world feats that happened over the past 12 months. This year, our PornHub statisticians have made it their mission to break down and understand the events over the past year and how they affected traffic to our website.”
The PornHub statisticians crunched numbers revealed some interesting info: in 2013, users visited the site 14,775,000,000 times. For the non-number crunching inclined, that works out to a whopping 1.68 million visits an hour.
Other demystified categories include Horniest Month of 2013 (January), Most Traffic-ed Day (Monday),Top Turns Ons and Average Visit Duration (broken down by country and state).
While the holidays are known to induce widespread loneliness in the coupled and single alike, they don’t seem to spur porn traffic. Graphics depicting user habits on Christmas and New Year's shows a sharp decline in site visits around the world.
“Now that all this data has been compiled, we’ll let the statisticians enjoy the holiday season with their families — but only for a short while. We’ll have plenty of great new insights for you in the new year…,” PornHub concluded.
