Sportsheets Takes Home Erotix Honors

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Sportsheets announced that it has won the Fetish Company of the Year award at this year’s Erotix Awards, an annual tradition held during the eroFame trade show to recognize outstanding work within adult.

The company said that the award, presented by EAN Magazine, honors its dedication to quality manufacturing, creative product development, and exponential growth both in and out of the adult retail industry.

Awarded to Sportsheets CEO Tom Stewart, Project Manager Kimberly Harding, and Sales Manager Cheri Poe on the first trade show day, the award set the tone for a successful event that attracted nearly 200 vendors. Sportsheets said its booth attracted several new customers after becoming acquainted with the company’s bondage theme.

“Sportsheets is the No. 1 company for modern and couples-friendly S&M products and they’re constantly growing and developing,” EAN Magazine’s Matthias Poehl, said. “The brand has been getting a lot of attention and recognition from outside of the adult industry, too, which is honorable in and of itself.”

The annual Erotix Awards recognizes the best international companies, Sportsheets noted.

“It’s an especially great honor to be recognized by our international trade organizations for the work we do bringing accessible, affordable and top-quality bondage accessories to consumers of all sexual lifestyles,” Stewart said.

He added, “The Sportsheets team would like to thank Matthias and the EAN team for their recognition and to our reliable and respected retail and distribution partners worldwide — we couldn’t do it without you.”

This marks the second Erotix win for Sportsheets. The popular Sex&Mischief collection took home the 2012 Best Marketing B2B Campaign for its packaging and black-and-white fashion-inspired imagery. “Our products make exploring the fantasy easy and fun with enough variety to make sure playtime never stops — and there’s always something new and exciting to try when you’re ready for something new,” Poe said.
