XBIZ Awards Pre-Nomination Period Ends on Oct. 11

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ announced on Friday that there is only one week left in the pre-nomination period for adult entertainment's biggest industry awards show, the 2014 XBIZ Awards to be held on Jan. 24 at the Century Plaza Hotel in Century City, Calif.

The deadline for all 2014 XBIZ Awards pre-nominations is midnight on Friday, Oct. 11.

To submit pre-nominations in any of the awards categories, industry professionals must be registered members of the XBIZ.net social network and use the online submission form to record their entries.

In order to be eligible for consideration for a 2014 XBIZ Award, video and novelty products must be released between Oct. 15, 2012, and Oct. 11, 2013.

Upon completing the pre-nomination submission form, XBIZ encourages producers and manufacturers to submit their product samples and marketing materials to:

Adnet Media, Attn.: 2014 Noms
5042 Wilshire Blvd. #487
Los Angeles, CA 90036

Six new award categories have been added for the 2014 show in an effort to be more inclusive of previously unrecognized market segments and in response to feedback from members of the adult entertainment industry.

In the Movies & Production field, for the first time in XBIZ Awards history, an honor will be given to the most outstanding Girl/Girl Performer of the Year

In the Web & Tech field, XBIZ will introduce an award for New Site of the Year.

In the Pleasure Products field, two new categories have been added: Fetish Pleasure Product of the Year and Specialty Pleasure Product of the Year

And in the Retail & Distribution field, new awards will be given to the Progressive Retailer of the Year and Progressive Distributor of the Year.
