According to MenOnTheNet editor Craig Kasparek, the nearly decade-old site has become known as the yellow pages of gay porn.
The site’s online library of stories includes submissions from writers around the world. The archives are free to both readers and writers alike.
“We’ve always known the archive was popular.” Kasparek said. “In fact, it’s one of the most visited areas of the entire website. Seeing numbers like this, we realize that the surfing readership truly appreciates the archive. We’re gratified at the response.”
According to Kasparek, the sheer volume of entries allows the site to cater to a wide range of different tastes.
“The range of talent and topics is amazing,” Kasparek said. “In its 130 different sexual themes, the archive offers nascent tales from beginning writers, all the way to complete multi-episode serial stories from professional-caliber authors. The diversity is astounding.”
The site, which launched in 1996, currently comprises a directory of more than 28,000 gay erotic websites, among them the Erotic Stories Archive. The archive typically receives around 30 story contributions per week, according to Kasparek.
