LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures announced that Wicked Girl Samantha Saint, Asa Akira and director Brad Armstrong will join jessica drake and Team Wicked in the 29th Annual AIDS Walk Los Angeles.
The walk will take place Oct. 13 in West Hollywood, Calif.
Team Wicked was formed last year by Wicked Pictures performer and director jessica drake, who has walked the past four years.
The group raised more than $18,000 for L.A. County AIDS organizations in 2013, qualifying it as a Gold Team in 2014.
"I am very excited to be participating with Team Wicked at this year's AIDS Walk Los Angeles,” Saint said. “I’m happy to be supporting such a worthy cause."
This year, the team hopes to raise more than $20,000 and is offering a variety of giveaways as incentive for fans and industry peers to donate, including an opportunity for those contributing $500 or more to participate in AIDS Walk Los Angeles as a member of Team Wicked.
"I'm really proud to be a part of Team Wicked at AIDS Walk L.A. this year. In light of everything that's been going these past weeks, it was an easy decision to make,” Akira said. “When jessica drake approached me to join, I had little knowledge on the organization itself. After doing some research, I quickly realized this was something I wanted to do. I look forward to being a part of something bigger than myself and hopefully making a change.”
Saint, Akira, and Armstrong will join Team Wicked walkers Kaylani Lei, Dana DeArmond, Kylie Ireland, Steven St. Croix and Brandy Aniston. The group also includes industry staff, family and friends.
"We're bringing out the big guns this week with the addition of Brad, Samantha and Asa to #teamwicked,” drake said. “Every time our team grows, we're one step closer to breaking last year's record. I'm so grateful everyone is pitching in to support such an important cause."
