LOS ANGELES — GameLink announced a promotional collaboration with the upcoming film “Lovelace” this week by giving customers a discount on "Deep Throat."
GameLink is offering buyers $5 off the "Deep Throat" VOD (streaming or download) alongside a Best User Review contest where the winner with the most entertaining appraisal receives 2,000 minutes of GameLink’s pay-per-minute plan.
The winner will be selected on Sept. 2.
"The current generation is largely unaware of the early days of adult movies and the impact this classic film had on society, pop culture and adult entertainment in general can’t be ignored," said Jeff Dillon, GameLink vice president of business development.
"'Deep Throat' is a movie about a woman achieving orgasm during the absolute height of ‘70s sexual freedom, but at the time a stigma of obscenity was still attached. Forty years later people are still fascinated by this important piece of history and how far we have come.”
GameLink customers can use the coupon code Lovelace at checkout and customer reviews for the Best User Review contest — taking place Aug. 9-Aug. 31 — may be submitted here.
