Red Apple Media Parent Receives Business Award

SAN DIEGO — Red Apple Media parent company dotCOM host has announced that it received a 2013 Small Business Award honorable mention from the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce.

This marks the first year that dotCOM host was nominated and reviewed by the San Diego Chamber of Commerce for its contribution to the local economy.

Following the company's recent launch of several business solutions, including Media Vault data recovery, VantageCart online shopping cart and the Media Commander media delivery platform — dotCOM host says it was poised for the Chamber’s acknowledgement.

“We are honored to receive this award as recognition for the hard work that our team has done and all of the goals we have achieved together this year,” Red Apple Media CEO and co-founder Steven Daris said. “This is the first time that our efforts to build and maintain a strong local business have been recognized by such a respected organization and we look forward to celebrating with our staff.”

The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit membership organization that provides advocacy, networking and professional development to local businesses. Each year the Chamber honors a selection of San Diego small businesses.

For more than 15 years, dotCOM and Red Apple Media have provided hosting and ecommerce services to support online businesses within the local community in San Diego and beyond.
