SugarDVD Streaming on New Android 'Ouya' Console

LOS ANGELES — SugarDVD has unveiled its streaming app for the new Android-based “Ouya” gaming console.

Digital Trends reported today that the Netflix-like service allows subscribers to stream hundreds of porn films for $7.95 per month.

“With SugarDVD’s app in its arsenal, the Ouya can expect to be taken seriously in the entertainment market,” the company said. “The adult industry has propelled technology like the VHS, DVDs, PCs, and more, thus the Ouya stands the benefit from entertainment apps like SugarDVD.”

“There’s this myth that gaming consoles aren’t any good if they are used for more than just gaming,” spokesperson Rebecca Bolen said, “but we believe that video entertainment capabilities only enhance a console.”

The $99 Ouya game console was released just this week amid controversy over widespread delivery delays.

SugarDVD also supports streaming on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Roku, iOS, Android, and other platforms.

Last May, the company announced that it was planning to provide streaming on the new Xbox console.

Digital Trends speculated that support for Sony’s next-generation PlayStation 4 is also likely considering the ubiquity of the service.
