NakedSword.com Partners With OutPersonals.com

SAN FRANCISCO — Gay video-on-demand provider NakedSword.com has established a strategic partnership with OutPersonals.com, FriendFinder Network Inc.’s flagship dating site for bisexual and gay men.

The deal calls for NakedSword.com to serve as the official VOD source for the OutPersonals.com dating site and also serve in an advisory capacity, consulting with FriendFinder on the gay marketplace.

“We’re very excited to help FriendFinder maximize the adult-oriented traffic on OutPersonals.com,” NakedSword.com President Tim Valenti said. “We specialize in fantasy and they specialize in reality; together we can help make OutPersonals a great destination for gay and bisexual men.”

When looking for a company that specialized in providing gay VOD content, FriendFinder Partner and Spokesman Legendary Lars said that it was important to find a trusted and knowledgeable company that has respect in the gay community.

“NakedSword.com has been a top VOD provider for nearly a decade and their knowledge of the gay consumer is invaluable,” Lars said. “It made sense for us to partner with a gay-owned company that could speak to our audience in an experienced manner.”

Founded in 1997, NakedSword.com allows users unlimited access to more than 3,500 gay titles in its online library. The site offers monthly membership and pay-per-view options to view full-length titles from more than 100 studios, including Falcon, Titan, COLT and Raging Stallion.

The Palo Alto, Calif.-based FriendFinder manages more than 20 multicultural and multilingual personals sites, with about 130 million members, the company said. OutPersonals.com boasts more than 1.3 million registered members.

“We’ve built our reputation on knowing the value of good content,” Valenti said. “We’ll use that knowledge to develop a first-class adult section for OutPersonals.com consumers.”
