New Frontier Media Signs Exclusive With Ninn Worx

BOULDER, Colo. — New Frontier Media’s TEN division said Monday it signed an exclusive deal with Ninn Worx that will encompass projects for TV, mobile and the Internet.

While New Frontier would not disclose the price of the deal, it said that the agreement includes exclusive rights to a library of 86 titles produced over the past three years, as well as exclusive rights to Ninn Worx’s content output over the next four years.

Ninn Worx is helmed by Michael Ninn, who has worked in the porn industry almost 20 years. New Frontier said it tapped Ninn because of his “unique sensual cinematography,” as well as his use of original soundtracks he employs.

“Our research shows that the market craves attractive talent in quality productions that are appealing to both individuals and couples alike,” New Frontier President Ken Boenish said in a statement. “Distinction in adult content is not about porn queens, but about creating visually arresting and glamorous erotic fantasies.”

Ninn Worx’s deal with TEN, or The Erotic Networks, includes a series of special projects not just for the pay-per-view and video-on-demand side of New Frontier, but also for its Internet and mobile sector, which both have been languishing for years.

The content distributor reported higher earnings in the last quarter as it saw revenue increase $12.9 million, up 19 percent higher than the year before.

Revenue from the company’s VOD operations, which service both cable and hotel markets nationwide, grew by 41 percent, accounting for the lion’s share of New Frontier’s growth.

The company, which broadcasts mostly softcore titles in a reported 120 million households, plans on releasing figures from its next quarter on Tuesday.
