XBIZ Summit to Debut 1st 'Gamified' Show; Prizes Announced

MIAMI — XBIZ is pleased to announce the "gamification" of XBIZ Summit, bringing an all-new, industry-first element to the highly anticipated event courtesy of presenting sponsor AWEmpire.

XBIZ Summit attendees will earn participation points in a friendly competition with exciting prizes.

In line with the XBIZ Summit theme “the ultimate playground for business,” the gamification of the event will offer a variety of opportunities for participants to earn points towards high-end Apple product prizes and advertising within XBIZ’s media product line.

1st Place Winner (Grand Prize) — MacBook Pro Retina (valued at $1,499), plus an XBIZ advertising campaign (valued at $5,000).

2nd Place Winner — 11” MacBook Air (valued at $999), plus an XBIZ advertising campaign (valued at $2,500).

3rd Place Winner — iPad Retina (valued at $499), plus an XBIZ advertising campaign (valued at $1,000).

Game Rules:

1. All registered show attendees are eligible to participate simply by attending XBIZ Summit's lineup of seminars, workshops and special events. 

2. To earn points, attendees must post a photo of themselves standing alongside each session/event's designated "official show babe" who will be holding a digital tablet device displaying a unique code. To receive credit, show name badges must be clearly visible in photos.

3. Photos may be posted to either Facebook's XBIZ Summit group, to Twitter using the #XBIZSummit hashtag or to XBIZ.net via photo upload.

4. The top three attendees with the most event/session points recorded by XBIZ will win the above Apple product prizes and marketing campaigns. In addition, five randomly selected participants will be awarded $100 iTunes gift cards announced at the official XBIZ Summit farewell event on Friday, May 17.

To keep participants updated on their rank/standing at any point during the show, a regularly updated "Top-Ranked Attendees" page will be available on the official mobile event website, m.xbizsummit.com.

Scheduled for May 14-17, XBIZ Summit will be held at the Mayfair Hotel & Spa in Miami’s famed Coconut Grove. For a limited time, members of XBIZ.net can qualify for free show registration courtesy of PussyCash. Attendees are encouraged to book rooms early at the Mayfair Hotel & Spa Hotel to ensure availability. Room rates start at $169.
