XBiz World Goes Global, Offers Both Online and Offline Digital Editions

LOS ANGELES – XBIZ World, the leading trade magazine serving the online adult industry, has launched a digital edition, publisher Alec Helmy announced Tuesday, which will significantly increase the publication’s distribution as well as better serve its global readership of adult professionals.

The digital version of XBIZ World also comes with an offline, downloadable option to better accommodate readers on the move, traveling or those who are away from an Internet connection and are still eager to stay on top of breaking industry news and in-depth feature stories.

The XBIZ digital edition currently is available at XBIZ.com and through Zinio.com, a digital publisher that automatically downloads content to the desktop. Zinio also enables archiving and storage, has full DRM and encryption functionality and is completely auditable.

"XBIZ has always been a tech-driven media company, and offering digital editions of our print publications was a natural next step,” Helmy said. “What really sets our digital delivery service apart is that users have the option of downloading each issue to their desktops to enjoy them whenever they're offline. And of course, this is great news for our advertisers because XBIZ now has the biggest digital distribution reach possible."

Kristen Kaye, XBIZ sales and marketing manager, echoed that sentiment by saying that she was thrilled to be able to offer XBIZ advertisers another way to be seen.

A digital edition of XBIZ Video will be available next week, Kaye said, making XBIZ’s two leading trade journals available across a wider swath of readers.
