LELO Reports Record Valentine’s Day Sales

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Swedish designer brand LELO today announced that its “Save Your Valentine’s Day” campaign has contributed to the company’s highest-yet Valentine’s sales performance.

The company also reports the strong sales of its new Adore Me Pleasure Set were exceeded by the Tiani 2 couples’ massager, making it one of the world’s bestselling couples’ toys so far for 2013, the company said.

LELO’s “Save Your Valentine’s Day” was conducted through its 100,000-strong fan base of Facebook and Twitter followers, plus newsletter subscribers, highlighting the need for couples to be more imaginative regarding gifts for Valentine’s . The campaign saw coverage in the New York Times, Cosmopolitan, the Daily Mail and Mashable.com.

Citing record engagement levels, it is this added attention that has been seen to boost Tiani 2 sales through January and early February in retail stores across the U.S, Europe and Asia, the company said.

LELO USA Sales & Marketing Director Donna Faro said, “Valentine’s is the second biggest holiday of the year for LELO retailers and distributors, and we were thrilled by the reaction to our ‘Save Your Valentine’s Day’ campaign with customers seeking out LELO in their local stores. Most of all, however, it was incredible to see sales of Tiani 2 continue to exceed our expectations — even when it was not featured in the promotion itself!”

LELO says it continues to enjoy a strong start to its 10th year of business, having been awarded three coveted prizes from XBIZ and AVN.
