Ex-Porn Star Stacie Halas Can Appeal to Return to Classroom

VENTURA, Calif. — Stacie Halas, the ex-porn star who was fired from a teaching position in Oxnard after she was found to have a performer past, has until Feb. 13 to decide whether to appeal a decision dismissing her from the classroom.

Halas filmed porn scenes between 2005 and 2006 prior to her teaching gig at Haydock Intermediate School, but the ongoing availability of the videos would continue to hamper her ability to be an effective teacher, according to Judge Julie Cabos-Owen.

Cabos-Owen wrote in a 46-page report that Halas had failed to "establish that she can be trusted as a role model for children or an example of redemption."

Cabos-Owen also said that "the circumstances of this case most certainly demonstrate that one's decisions and conduct, particularly continual deceit, must bring with them certain consequences."

But Halas can appeal the dismissal order to Ventura County Superior Court, her attorney, Richard Schwab, told the Los Angeles Times today. Feb. 13 would be the last day for her to file an appeal in Superior Court, which runs for 30 days from the ruling.

At post time it wasn't clear whether Halas would appeal the decision.

Halas, under the alias Tiffany Six, performs oral sex and double penetrations with up to four men In the 2006 movie "No Cum Dodging Allowed 7." A NSFW trailer can be seen on JulesJordanVideo.com.
