Hosted by Jameson, the weekly one-hour show plays like an adult industry version of “American Idol.” The show follows contestants as they compete in front of celebrity judges for the grand prize — a Club Jenna contract. The program is broadcast live in front of a studio audience, and fans can vote online for the winner.
In January, Brea Bennett was crowned the newest Club Jenna girl after besting the competition. Ron Jeremy, Christy Canyon and adult director Jim Powers presided as judges. This year’s judges include Jameson’s husband Jay Grdina, Powers and “Survivor” winner Jenna Lewis.
Last season’s shows featured mostly young girls new to the adult entertainment business looking for their star turn that a CJ contract would give them. Cody Milo, Michelle Maylene and new Vivid contract girl Tiffany Taylor all competed before Jameson’s watchful eye.
Season two kicks off with Roxy Jezel, Brooke Banner, Hailey Young and Naomi seeking the CJ crown. At the conclusion of each weekly episode, viewers can visit either AmericanSexStar.com or PlayboyTV.com to vote for their favorite girl.
“The second season of ‘American Sex Star’ is going to be the best yet,” Jameson said. “It will be filled with hardcore competition from these starlets. It has become a huge stepping stone for every girl in the industry to have something to do with ‘American Sex Star,’ and they are certainly bringing their game faces. This season is going to be edgier and a bit more raw.”
