Dominic Ford Named Gay Web Company of the Year at XBIZ Awards

LOS ANGELES — Dominic Ford took home the title of Gay Web Company of the Year at the XBIZ Awards.

"We are profoundly humbled and thankful to everyone who made this award possible. Winning came as a complete surprise to me, and I could not imagine a better way to start 2013. A heartfelt and deep thank-you to XBIZ for making my dreams come true," company owner Dominic Ford said.

The company came on the scene more than four years ago with its flagship brand DominicFord.com and has become known for its 3D content, 1080p downloads and streaming video on the iPad.

The company's 3D feature film, "Whorrey Potter and the Sorcerer's Balls" won multiple awards.

In 2012, DominicFord.com launched a Roku channel, which allows streaming of 2D, 3D anaglyph and 3DTV formats of its movies.

"So You Think You Can Fuck" is a reality show and another Dominic Ford brand.

Ford said, "In 2013 we will continue to push the envelope. We are already planning 4K-productions and have a lot of new technology we plan on unleashing throughout the year, from SMS-based customer service to new feature films."

Ford splits his time between his DominicFord.com brands and Porn Guardian, the industry's anti-piracy solution, which he co-owns.
