Wicked Pictures, Associated Lines Earn 80 XBIZ Nominations

LOS ANGELES Wicked Pictures and the lines it distributes have received more than 80 2013 XBIZ nominations.

Forty five major nominations went to the productions released by the company in 2012: Brad Armstrong’s "Men In Black: A Hardcore Parody" and "Countdown" (both Wicked Pictures), Marcus London’s "Spartacus MMXII: The Beginning" (London Gunn Films and Miko Lee Productions, distributed by Wicked Pictures), and "Inglorious Bitches" (Video Marc Dorcel, distributed by Wicked Pictures).

An XBIZ Editor’s Choice, director Brad Armstrong’s out-of-this-world spoof "Men In Black: A Hardcore Parody" led the way for the company’s in-house productions with ten nominations.

The DVD’s special effects, performances and production values were recognized with nominations asuch s Parody Release of the Year – Comedy, Director of the Year – Parody, Best Actress (Misty Stone) Best Actor (Randy Spears) and Best Scene – Parody Release (Alektra Blue and Xander Corvus).

Armstrong’s "Countdown" was similarly honored. The dramatic feature’s nine nominations included Feature Movie of the Year, Director of the Year – Feature Release, Best Actress – Feature Movie (jessica drake), Best Actor – Feature Movie (Brad Armstrong) and Best Supporting Actress (Kaylani Lei).

Marcus London’s Editor’s Choice "Spartacus XXII: The Beginning" (London Gunn Films & Miko Lee Productions) garnered 18 nominations, including Feature Movie of the Year, Director of the Year – Feature Release, Best Actress – Feature Movie (Devon Lee), Best Actor – Feature Movie (Marcus London), Best Supporting Actress (Tanya Tate) and Best Supporting Actor (Tommy Gunn, Tony DeSergio).
