Lovehoney Announces Fifty Shades of Grey Official Collection

BATH, England — Lovehoney is currently taking pre-orders for the official range of Fifty Shades of Grey merchandise developed in association with author E L James.

Lovehoney says it has worked closely with author E L James to make sure the range perfectly recreates the items used by Ana and her billionaire lover Christian Grey.

“This range is what I always imagined while I was writing Fifty Shades of Grey, I’m so excited that the toys I described in the books have come to life and can now be enjoyed around the world," James said in a press release.

The range will be available in stores and online throughout Europe and Australia in time for Christmas, manufactured and distributed by Lovehoney, the U.K.-based “sexual happiness people.”

"We’re thrilled to have worked with E L James to develop the Fifty Shades of Grey range,”Lovehoney co-founder Neal Slateford said. “The Trilogy has introduced generations of women to the joys of pleasure products. Now at last they can buy a range that truly reflects the world of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.”

With names inspired by passages from the books, the official collection offers items ranging in price from $15 to $60. The initial range of 20 products includes: Inner Goddess Silver Pleasure Balls, You. Are. Mine. Metal Handcuffs, Submit To Me First Time Bondage Kit, All Mine Deluxe Satin Blackout Mask, Sweet Sting - Riding Crop, and the Twitchy Palm Spanking Paddle.

The Fifty Shades of Grey official collection is, discreet and couple-friendly. Products are supplied with a luxurious storage bag and each comes with suggestions for use and tips on introducing the items into a relationship.

Lovehoney says the Fifty Shades of Grey range will give high street retailers a welcome boost in a tough economic climate.

“Mainstream retailers have traditionally been nervous about adding intimate accessories to their product ranges,” says Slateford. “Lovehoney’s Fifty Shades of Grey range will give them the perfect opportunity to introduce their customers to the products they have enjoyed reading about.”

The Fifty Shades of Grey range will be distributed by Lovehoney's new business-to-business division Omora.
