BURBANK, Calif. — Grooby Productions announced that the fifth annual Tranny Awards will be held on Feb. 17, 2013, at the Beyond the Stars Palace in Glendale, Calif.
The Tranny Awards celebrates the accomplishments of the performers, directors, and companies in TS adult industry. To properly accommodate industry guests and fans alike, Grooby has decided to move the Tranny Awards to a larger venue.
The Beyond the Stars Palace was built in 1939 as the famous Roxy Theater and has since been remodeled, while still preserving its classic art-deco design.
Grooby Productions owner Steven Grooby remarked, "While last year's show was a success, we did have a number of problems with the venue and organization last year. We've resolved these issues for the coming show by selecting the Beyond the Stars Palace, who are working closely with us to ensure a stellar event.
"This venue will allow us to put on a much higher production show, with entertainment and fantastic sponsor opportunities. There is already a buzz around the show amongst the performers, producers, and previous sponsors so we're really looking forward to this year."
