OC Business Journal Names Sportsheets to 'Fastest Growing Company' List

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — The Orange County Business Journal has named Sportsheets among its list of Fastest Growing Private Companies in 2012.

Established in 1993, Sportsheets is family owned and operated.

The Orange County Business Journal compiles an annual list of the top companies whose business practices, growth and professionalism have left a lasting impression on the community, the company said.

“More than half of our 500 products are made in the USA, and we employ more than 50 local contractors and employees — we create and maintain jobs for our community and beyond,” Sportsheets President Julie Stewart said. “Projected 2012 sales are estimated to double sales in 2011 and with the boom in business following the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ books we expect that number to continue growing!”

The Orange County Business Journal delivers readers weekly compilations of news and information pertaining to the reputable companies, industries and figures within the region.

“Sportsheets has experienced exponential growth in the almost two decades in which we’ve been in business, especially since the debut of the award-winning Sex & Mischief collection just one year ago,” Sportsheets founder and CEO Tom Stewart said. “This is truly exciting news and an excellent opportunity to show the mainstream business world that the adult industry features some seriously strong and successful companies. What an honor to be recognized by local mainstream media!”
