FRANKFURT — Pay4.eu has tapped Erik Bellavance as its new North American representative.
"My role as the North American representative will be to teach North American-based companies that Europeans have different payment habits," Bellavance said. "In North America, we all have and use credit cards on a daily basis. But out of the 700 million Europeans, only approximately 25 percent of them have a credit card.
"And they do not feel comfortable with online credit card payments. They prefer and are familiar with the SEPA direct debit payment system."
Bellavance and Pay4.eu's international sales manager, Tobias, will attend XBIZ EU next week, Monday-Wednesday, at the Radisson Edwardian Bloomsbury hotel in London
