New Danni Appointments

LOS ANGELES — Danni.com announced the appointment of Bill Rix to marketing manager and the promotion of product manager, Derek Devore, to director of web products.

Prior to Danni, Rix served as sales and marketing manager for Elegant Angel. Rix previously spent 18 years in the music industry, holding sales and marketing positions at Elektra Records/Warner Music Group, Skaggs Records and independent record label, KOCH. In his new role at Danni, Rix will help drive Danni’s marketing initiatives, manage events and public relations efforts, as well as handle talent coordination and marketing merchandise.

Derek Devore previously served as webmaster and designer for Silkscreen Music, which specializes in providing music and sound design to multi-million dollar Hollywood films. Devore has been serving as product manager and webmaster at Danni for the past two years. In his new role, Devore will focus on new products and technologies in the video-on-demand, mobile and web markets.

“We are thrilled about these recent employee developments at Danni,” said Layne Thrasher, Danni.com’s head of operations. “While Derek continues to be a valuable member of our team as evidenced in this well-deserved promotion, we are also pleased to welcome Bill to the team — his prior marketing experience will help solidify Danni’s status as a leader in the industry.”
