Wicked Pictures Unleashes ‘Men in Black’ National Ad Blitz With XBIZ

LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures kicked off its national ad campaign for Brad Armstrong’s upcoming parody of the popular Hollywood franchise “Men in Black” on Wednesday  by unveiling an elaborate multimedia ad blitz through leading news media portal XBIZ.com.

"Men in Black: A Hardcore Parody" stars veteran performer Randy Spears as the stubborn Agent K and Misty Stone as his smooth partner Agent J, who has now undergone gender reassignment to help infiltrate an alien race out to abduct hot women.

The cast includes all the current Wicked contract girls. Jessica Drake plays sexy alien beast Estrella, Alektra Blue is Kylothian queen Serleena and Kaylani Lei assumes the role of an intergalactic ambassador. India Summer, Isis Taylor, James Bartholet, Tommy Pistol, Wolf Hudson, Xander Corvus, Ethan Hunt and Tommy Gunn also appear.

In addition to branding the backdrop of XBIZ.com, “Men in Black: A Hardcore Parody” ad campaign includes a multimedia slide-down panel featuring the official movie trailer, branded digital newsletters as well as promotions through consumer portal XFANZ.com.

Wicked Pictures publicist Daniel M. said that doing the XBIZ.com campaign was ideal for this heavyweight production.

“Brad Armstrong's 'Rocki Whore Picture Show: A Hardcore Parody' was our first spoof, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the results," M. said. "It won over a dozen major industry awards and continues to perform well financially. It is really a testament to why Brad Armstrong has won Director of the Year so many times. He continues to explore new genres and create winners in all of them. With 'Men In Black: A Hardcore Parody,' he had the cast, crew and resources needed to make the best film possible, and we're excited to showcase their hard work on XBIZ.com.”

Dan Miller, executive managing editor of XBIZ, said that this kind of campaign fits with this kind of ambitious project.

“Once or twice every year Wicked Pictures engineers a movie event,” Miller said. “Brad Armstrong’s take on ‘Men in Black’ is one of those special occasions. One of Hollywood’s all-time most popular franchises seemed destined for the porno treatment, and with Brad’s well-documented attention to detail, he is just the guy to do it big.”

Sara Sazzman, associate publisher for XBIZ, agreed.

“Wicked Pictures built its reputation on quality features and now they are also becoming a recognized force in the parody genre,” Sazzman said. “We are beyond pleased that Wicked has decided to anchor its national advertising blitz with our premier multimedia campaign, which is specifically designed to create maximum impact across all our media channels. The biggest movies of the year deserve a campaign of this level.”
