Sportsheets Honored With 2 StorErotica Awards Nominations

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.  Sportsheets.com and its  Sex & Mischief fantasy collection have taken home nominations in two leading categories for the upcoming 2012 StorErotica Awards, scheduled July 15 in Burbank, Calif.

The company was recognized in the Fetish Company of the Year and Marketing Campaign of the Year categories.

Sportsheets said it creates fun, friendly and easy-to-try fantasy items that strategically straddle the line between mainstream and fantasy. The original Sportsheet sexual positioning and restraint system remains one of the most popular bedroom fantasy accessories since its debut more than 20 years ago, the company said.

"We are honored to be recognized for our hard work in this sector of the adult retail market," said Tom Stewart, Sportsheets founder and CEO.

"Sportsheets was founded on mainstreaming fantasy play with top quality products that consumers of all sexual lifestyles can   and do  try, and it's a pleasure to have been nominated by our friends and colleagues."

Sportsheets' Sex & Mischief collection of BDSM-inspired accessories was recognized for its  marketing campaign, featuring high-fashion imagery and display designs.

Following the breakout popularity of the “Fifty Shades” erotic trilogy, Sex & Mischief has taken its marketing and promotional campaign to creative heights, the company said.

"Sex & Mischief took months of development and having these nominations under our belt has validated all of our hard work," said Julie Stewart, Sportsheets vice president. "S&M features the best marketing campaign Sportsheets International has ever launched and this nomination shows the industry agrees."

Sex &Mischief's advertising and merchandising campaign features black-and-white Vogue-like photography in a gray color scale that complements the “Fifty Shades” book covers.

The company offers matching slatwall signage, hanging posters, digital video frames, and other unique promotional tools.
